It would be 86 if the Shepherds bothered to count, and it works.

Okay. There's not really a lot to talk about right now anyway, though...

For now, this is in case one of us is absent and we need to keep in touch when something comes up.

How many of the players are you familiar with?

From: [identity profile] head-overheels.livejournal.com
Like... three of them. What about you?

The Master Materia team, Matthew, and I've spoken to the one with a screw in his head before but not face to face...

From: [identity profile] head-overheels.livejournal.com
Oh, he's one of the ones I know too! And I've spoken to him face to face before, yeah...

From: [identity profile] sharpasfire.livejournal.com
[sigh]...so you might have an idea if he's engaging in suspicious behavior rather than his own unusual mannerisms.

Date: 2008-12-17 10:22 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] head-overheels.livejournal.com
... oh, uh. Well, it was just a one-time thing and I was kind of... distracted while we were talking.

So we're operating with mostly unknowns and no clues to start with.

From: [identity profile] head-overheels.livejournal.com
Though isn't "we're not giving you a clue today" kind of a clue anyway?

Date: 2008-12-17 10:34 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] sharpasfire.livejournal.com
They said 'probably.' And it's more of a deterrent. With less motivation to solve anything, people are quiet and it's easier to hide behind the excuse of cluelessness.

From: [identity profile] sharpasfire.livejournal.com
Do you have any opinion on the ones mentioned in the clue?

Date: 2008-12-19 12:43 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] head-overheels.livejournal.com
Um, not really? Not like beyond "oh wow, she's kinda creepy" or anything.

Yes, if it comes to it I'll interrogate her instead.

But I think we should focus on the loud idiot that only commented once yesterday. She showed up and proceeded to say nothing of merit. If we put pressure on her for the ousting she might finally react. And if we look for voting changes to save her we'll have more to go on if the wolves try anything.

From: [identity profile] head-overheels.livejournal.com
That makes sense! Hey, have you voted yet?

Date: 2008-12-19 01:51 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] sharpasfire.livejournal.com
No. I have things to attend to so I may be late for the ousting. It would be better for you to cast a vote in case something strange happens in the last moments before nightfall.

Exercise your own judgement. So far we have an idiot that refused to answer any questions, that 'creepy' one who goes out of her way to be unhelpful and then claim it as a defense, then two that may actually provide some kind of assistance, which might actually make them wolves simply for the fact that they aren't as incompetent as the others.

And I'll be gone for now until whenever I get back. Take care of things and do not link anything to the shepherds that involve me until I'm back.

Er. Right! I totally won't... um. Do that.

Sorry I kind of vanished last night, I meant to only take a little break but then I got... um, distracted.

So we're in the new clue?

From: [identity profile] sharpasfire.livejournal.com
...it's fine. If you were there you probably would have made negotiations worse.

We are. With Capell and Hotstreak and the dragon team. Considering everyone's behavior in voting last night it looks as if your hunch may be right about the 'awesome' team. And validates my first guess about Hotstreak, they're not calculating but they're determinedly sheep. If they weren't then whoever is the third wolf team is orchestrating this whole mess, and I want to last long enough to narrow down the possibilities.

I definitely think it's them, even if they haven't been as weird as Takano they're kinda... not showing up at all. So you think it's the dragon thingie who's the wolf in our clue?

Date: 2008-12-20 03:03 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] sharpasfire.livejournal.com
I like being right, and my first opinion is that Hotstreak at least was behaving as expected for a frustrated sheep. The dragons have been around, voting, enough to be counted as there but not for anyone to notice them. The perfect way to not act suspicious at all.

It's already clearly worked with Alfred, but I don't care much for his opinion. If we're right and Jack and Rose are the wolves, we'll be able to defend ourselves much better tomorrow since it looks like the dragons are protecting them by voting for Takano. If we're wrong and Takano goes out then we'll be on the defensive but if they vote us out for being too competent then the sheep deserve their loss.

That's fair! Kinda like with this last clue where Yukari was really rude and unhelpful and Takano was really creepy and unhelpful but Jack and Rose just sorta coasted or whatever? I mean, in the last game where someone seemed like they had no clue what they were doing and acted really weird, they were a sheep and we lost because we thought he was super suspicious...

From: [identity profile] sharpasfire.livejournal.com
Yukari was the type where she would only be useful if she thought her self-preservation was at risk. I wanted her up because otherwise she wouldn't give us any relevant answers. And if we had to lose our chance on a sheep she was worthles anyway.

I'm not even going to list the amount of mistakes I've seen in the past games. The last one was bad enough I thought I was done with this for good.

... was that the one I was in too?

Oh! Oh, good.

... so should I ask about what happened in the game you're talking about, or...?

From: [identity profile] sharpasfire.livejournal.com
It was a partner game.

I was paired with Euphie.

As you can tell, no matter how annoying this one may be--[significant look of, yes, that includes you at times]--it could only be an improvement compared to the last.
